Symptom:
Error 1886 is displayed on my PM5
Resolution:
This error code means that the workout log memory within the PM5 is full. To clear the monitor memory and resolve the error please follow the below reset steps:
- press and hold down both the ‘units’ and the ‘display’ buttons
- While holding down these two buttons, press and release the recessed reset button located on the back of the PM5 to the lower right of the battery door (protip: you will need a paperclip or a pen to press this)
- After pressing the reset button, continue holding the other two buttons down until you see "setting factory defaults" displayed on the PM5.
Once this is displayed, you can remove your fingers from the other two buttons and the monitor should be all set.
