Symptom:
My PM5 monitor is displaying error code 1944.
Resolution:
These 1944 errors are related to an issue with an earlier firmware update.
You can usually resolve them either by pulling both batteries from the PM5 for 15 minutes and then reinstalling.
Step 1: Remove the batteries for at least 15 full minutes.
Step 2: Reinsert two new D cell batteries
Step 3: Reset the time and date when prompted.
Step 4: From the Main Menu press More options then press Connect.
Once that is complete, make sure you update your firmware to the current version.
