Symptom:
My PM5 monitor is displaying error code 542.
Resolution:
Error Code 542 is often associated with the PM5 monitor needing a reset.
To resolve the error code 542, please do the following:
- Remove the batteries for at least 15 full minutes.
- Reinsert two new D cell batteries that have a good charge.
- Reset the time and date when prompted.
- From the Main Menu press More options then press Turn Wireless On.
Once that is complete, it's a good idea to make sure you've updated your firmware to the latest version.
